Vic Brum won the Hot Street class at the PSCA West Coast Shootout on October 9th, 2011 at The Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. This victory came courtesy of an 8.433 E.T. at 163.65 MPH. Vic’s win solidified his PSCA Hot Street Championship for the 2011 racing season. Vic was also #1 qualifier and achieved low E.T. for the class with an 8.371 second pass in Saturday’s qualifying session. Vic relies on a Hughes Performance Pro-Glide transmission and GM95 torque converter to help harness the power generated by his Rick Watters Racing big block Chevrolet engine spinning over 9,000 RPM and propelling his beautiful 1970 Chevelle down the track and into the winner’s circle. Hughes Performance congratulates Vic Brum and the Brum Racing team on their outstanding achievement this season. We are excited to see even more impressive results as Vic finishes out the 2011 season.
