Jeff recently made the switch to a Hughes Performance billet 10.5″ torque converter and immediately picked up performance across the board. Jeff ran as fast as 188 MPH during the Friday night test & tune session and as quick as 7.80 during the Saturday qualifying session at the PSCA West Coast Shootout on October 7th – 9th at The Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jeff is a serious contender in PSCA Wild Street, and is currently third in the points chase for the 2011 season.
Jeff’s Camaro is powered by a 400 cubic inch small block Chevrolet engine equipped with a crankshaft-driven F2 Procharger. Power is transmitted through a Hughes Performance billet 10.5″ torque converter and TH400 transmission. Jeff’s impressive performance results are achieved on a set of Mickey Thompson 275/60-15 Drag Radial tires in his stock suspension Camaro all at a race weight of 3,400 pounds. Hughes Performance is proud to help provide the Young Brothers racing team with the competitive edge they need to dominate the PSCA Wild Street class. Keep up the great work Jeff and Kevin!
