The Pacific Street Car Association held their NorCal Nats race at Sacramento Raceway, and the race did not disappoint, especially for first-time winner Chris Schmidl! Chris piloted his beautiful Vortech Superchargers-equipped Nova to an impressive 5.13 pass at 144 MPH in the PSCA Wild Street class, securing his first ever event win. Chris just got started campaigning this car in 275 radial tire racing late last season, and is already emerging as a force to be reckoned with.
Chris relies on a Vortech supercharger to push plenty of boost through a CSU-prepared blow-through carburetor atop his LSx engine. All that horsepower and torque is delivered through a Hughes Performance Heads Up Radial Tire billet torque converter. A set of Calvert Racing Suspensions Cal-Trac bars help plant the M/T 275 Drag Radial tires.
Congratulations on a well-deserved and well-earned victory Chris! We’re looking forward to a stellar 2014 racing season from your program!
