This amazing feat happened at the inaugural Lucas Oil NMCA West race in Bakersfield, California. Not only did Kevin set a new world record, he also managed to set both ends of the NMCA West 275 radial tire class record as well as set the record for the quickest and fastest 275 radial tire-equipped drag car on the entire West coast. All three records were set on the same pass with an amazing 7.37 E.T. at 198.52 MPH. Making this record setting pass even more impressive are the facts that this performance was achieved at a hefty 3,370 pounds, the air was at 2,700 feet, and Kevin managed to pick up an astounding 45 MPH on the back half of the track!
