Rick Webb picks up 4 MPH by switching from Brand "XXXX" to Hughes Performance torque converter!
Rick Webb was recently out testing locally in Phoenix with driver Josh Edwards behind the wheel of Rick's PSCA Xtreme Drag Radial Camaro. After switching from his Brand "XXXX" torque converter to a new Hughes Performance Heads-Up Radial Tire torque converter Rick immediately picked up from his previous best of 189 MPH to a whopping 193 MPH! Rick's Camaro runs at a race weight of just over 3,400 pounds on a 315 M/T Drag Radial tire and is powered by a brutally simple and reliable 540 cubic inch big block Chevy engine with conventional heads, a blow-through Dominator carburetor, and an F3 Procharger running 30+ PSI of boost. Rick also relies on a Hughes Performance Pro-Glide transmission with Pro Mod option.
